You will find that, when doing a reading in which Archangel Raphael of the Love of God comes through, I will refer to Raphael in the feminine as it is a female energy to me.  Raphael is easy and approachable.  She is a little less formal than Michael or Gabriel. 

She is known as the healing archangel as she whispers in the ears of doctors and nurses encouragement and inspiration in treating the ill who call upon her assistance. 

She is also the "travel" archangel.  If you are going on a trip, call on her to go with you and protect you.  She especially likes it when you have a feather tucked away as a reminder of her presence.  You'll find a feather on the dashboard of my car as a constant reminder of her presence.  I haven't had a car accident since 1983.
